SOS Domestic Abuse Projects is currently recruiting people to join its Trustee Board.
While the day-to-day running of our charity is the responsibility of the Chief Executive, our Trustees still play a vital role in our organisation. Our Trustees have the overall legal responsibility for SOS Domestic Abuse Projects; they oversee the budget, ensure that we are meeting our charitable aims and objectives and support the charity to help people affected by domestic abuse. Our Trustees work collectively as a board and take decisions at formal board meetings, which currently meet once every two months in Southend.
We are looking for people with the following skills:
- ‘Hard skills’ – such as legal, financial, management, etc., which are necessary to understand some of the complex decisions which have to be taken
- ‘Soft skills’ – such as team working, problem solving, asking difficult questions.
- People with knowledge, or experience of, the clients we support.
If this sounds like you and you are interested in becoming a Trustee for us, please contact us on 01702 868026 or email email@example.com
